| OK, time to bare my
soul..... I've been interested in
video since before VHS existed. I started shooting 8mm movies in the
late 60's as a teenager. Added 35mm photography in the early 70's.
Married the most wonderful woman in the world in 1975 (trying to score
some points at home here...). 1977 brought the first of 5 children, and
began my intense guerilla photography years. Taking kid pictures of
quality without getting the equipment gooey... takes more talent than
you know....
Educated with photography classes over
the years at the Detroit Photo Guild in the 70's, private portraiture
classes with Evelyn Zeek (Internationally known, great lady). Several
seminars in the 80's; glamour & sports photography. Shot several
hydroplane races... cool.
First real VHS video cam in 1994. Started
shooting and editing video after a couple of seminars, shooting several
high school events for cable and in school presentations, editing at the
local cable TV station. Got serious in 2000. Filmaking & video classes
at CCS (The College for Creative Studies in Detroit). This was very
cool, as one of my instructors (Charlie Aimone) was second camera on
several Elvis movies... he had some great stories. Worked with Sterling
Video as lead cameraman on many varied shoots; recitals, weddings,
infomercials, etc.
Spent large dollars in 2002 to start
shooting on my own. Added additional cameras, tripods, microphones,
updated editing system... ooh. Started shooting performances at Oakland
University Theater, some local high schools, music videos, corporate
videos, weddings, commercials.
I'm now ready for your event...... |
